About the camp
Start your learning Journey off on the right foot with our welding camp. You'll learn how to use a MIG welder and basic welding techniques such as beading, padding and the gas metal arc welding process.
Practice your skills by welding a variety of projects and then transform a steel plate into the skeleton of a dinosaur!
You can even take home your welding creations at the end of the week.
Evening Youth Programming will take home creations and projects throughout the 6 weeks
Evening Youth Programming will take place every Tuesday evening from 5:50 pm - 8:50 pm with the first session starting on Sep. 17 and the last session taking place on Oct. 22.
This programming is 6 sessions over 6 weeks. Price is for all 6 sessions and we cannot prorate any sessions missed.
Projects and curriculum will be similar to our summer welding programming. This is recommended for those who have not taken youth welding programming at SAIT.
For those seeking financial assistance to attend this programming, please reach out to youth.programs@sait.ca for further information.
