Dual-Credit Hospitality, Tourism and Marketing

Overview:
In this bundle of two courses, Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism and Brand and Guest Experience, students will focus on industries such as tourism, hotel and restaurant management, event planning, and culinary arts and emphasize practical experience and industry connections.
Students gain hands-on experience in dynamic environments, enabling them to excel in customer service, business management, and hospitality operations.

Students can accelerate their careers with SAIT's Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program. This unique 2+2 program is designed for graduates of SAIT’s Hospitality & Tourism Management diploma programs.
This bundle contains 2 courses that are required in the following diploma and degree programs.
Admission Requirements:
In order to be successful in this SAIT dual-credit offering, students should be in their grade 11 or 12 years of high school and need to be on track to successfully pass the following courses or equivalents with an overall average of at least 50%:
- Math 30-1, Math 30-2 or Pure Math 30 or 60% in Applied Math 30, and
- English Language Arts 30-1 or 60% in English Language Arts 30-2.
There may be other pre-requisite or co-requisites required by the school board for admission into this dual-credit program. Check with your local school board for further information.
