This fee covers the costs associated to attend SAIT's convocation ceremony. This includes your gown rental, hat and tassel (which you keep as a souvenir) and tickets for your guests to attend the ceremony.

You can request a letter confirming your enrolment as soon as you register in your courses. You will need to request the letter through mySAIT and we will upload it to MyCreds. You'll receive an email with your next steps within five business days after you submit your request.

You can change you major without reapplying to your program. You will have to meet with your academic chair and the chair of the major to which you wish to transfer (if different).

A challenge exam can be attempted if you have past experience or completed a previous course, but no documentation to verify are available. The decision to create a challenge exam and the corresponding cost is at the discretion of the SAIT school or academic department delivering the course.

A custom letter can be requested if you need information outside of what appears on our general letters of completion or confirmation of enrolment.

Non-SAIT students can arrange to write an exam through our Testing Centre. Speak with your home institution to determine if they have any fees you need to pay them.

If you've completed an informal grade appeal with your instructor and your Academic Chair, you can submit a written formal appeal to the Office of the Registrar. Your appeal must be submitted within 30 days of your course end date for credit courses or 10 days for apprentices.

Applicants to many of our medical programs must successfully complete one or both of the following entrance exams to be considered for admission.

Students who wish to return to a previous program after an unscheduled break lasting one semester or longer must complete an intent to return form within 90 days of the start of classes.

This fee covers the cost for us to evaluate whether you can receive transfer credit for your previous post-secondary education completed outside of Canada.

This fee is only applied for evaluations of international post-secondary education for the purpose of receiving transfer credit. The cost of evaluating education for admission purposes is included in the cost of your application to SAIT.

A letter of completion can be used to prove you've completed your program before you receive your credential. This will be created automatically for eligible grads and uploaded to MyCreds.

If you completed a SAIT program prior to 1995 and have never received a credential, you will need to complete a credential request form. Fill out the form and submit a support ticket with a scanned copy attached. Your digital credential will also be uploaded to MyCreds where you can securely share it with anyone you need.

Proof of your SAIT education will be updated on your official transcript. You can request a copy through mySAIT after your most recent course grades appear online.

This fee covers the cost associated with assessing credit for non-traditional learning you have completed.

If you wish to transfer to a different program, you'll need to complete a program transfer form. The form must be signed by the academic chairs of your current program and the program you wish to transfer to.

This fee is charged to any student who wishes to be reinstated to their courses after being canceled for non-payment.

If you failed a course within 5% of a passing grade, you can request to complete a supplemental exam or a special assignment through a remedy of deficiency form. If successful, an 'F' grade will be adjusted to a 'D' and a 'NP' will be adjusted to a 'P'.

If your SAIT credential is lost, damaged or destroyed, you can request a replacement. Complete a credential request form and submit a support ticket with a scanned copy attached.

In your support ticket, be sure to identify if this is a regular request (6-8 week turnaround) or a rush request (1-2 week turnaround) - bachelor degrees are not eligible for rush requests as they require a Latin translation.

Your digital credential will also be uploaded to MyCreds where you can securely share it with anyone you need.

Fee: $100

This fee will cover the cost of reviewing an appeal request to continue your studies or reduce the waiting period after a first or subsequent academic withdrawal. This fee can be refunded only if the appeal to continue your classes with no waiting period is successful.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
