Are you SAIT faculty interested in Study Abroad?

Many program specific study abroad programs are created and led by SAIT faculty to give students an international perspective on their field of study through sightseeing tours, service learning projects, industry visits, and more! We were given several opportunities to immerse ourselves in Singapore’s culture through school activities and exploring the country. I have engaged with instructors, local students and even my cab drivers, who gave me insight on their traditions, holidays, education system and the diversity in Singapore’s cuisine.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
