I have a Master of Science degree (Counselling Psychology) from the University of Calgary (2013) and am a Registered Psychologist. I joined SAIT in 2021 after working for many years in rural school counselling (where I supported the creation of the first gender-and-sexuality alliance in that school division) and working in the areas of domestic abuse and violence.
While I consider myself a generalist, I work primarily from a cognitive behavioural lens, supplemented by narrative, solution-focused and response-based practices. I am also trained in accelerated resolution therapy.
I believe in authenticity and encourage the creation of safe and supportive spaces when working with individuals. I believe clients are the experts of their experience, and my role is to support them in identifying and editing old patterns, thoughts and actions that are no longer helpful.
I am capable of supporting a myriad of presenting concerns but am especially suited to support anxiety, stress/burnout, relationship concerns, self-esteem, emotional regulation, life transitions, career exploration and identity.
I’m a connector in my life and value quality time spent with friends and family. I’m also a bit of a creative person, enjoying music, dance, refinishing projects and building Lego.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
