Life at SAIT
Sarah teaches in the Administrative Information Management program and has been with SAIT since 2004.
As a firm believer who sees education as a change catalyst, Sarah’s passion is to support non-traditional post-secondary students, including new immigrant students, mature students, ESL students and first-generation students.
Sarah provides her experienced advice on developing the Calgary Regional Skills Competitions and the Provincial Skills Competitions.
Education
Sarah has an Advanced Diploma in Education, a Teacher’s Training Certificate, an Administrative Information Management Diploma, a Human Resources and Labour Relations Certificate, and a master's in educational leadership and management.
Professional accomplishments
Sarah volunteers at Immigrant Services Calgary as an Employment Coach, teaching newcomers job search tools and strategies. She has previously volunteered for UNICEF Canada.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
