Life at SAIT 

Dr. Cameron Gall joined SAIT in 2006 and has taught a variety of business courses, including Introduction to Business, Business Mathematics, Statistics, Organizational Behavior and Economics. He is the embodiment of a skillful instructor who utilizes entertainment to make his classes fun and engaging. Dr. Cameron Gall has emphasized strong communication, teamwork, and independent thinking as core tenets of his pedagogical practice through the many years that he has taught at the university and college levels.  

Dr. Cameron Gall’s advice to students is to engage in as many extracurricular activities as possible, as that is where a crucial part of their learning journeys transpire. Dr. Cameron Gall enjoys finding new ways to reach his students and has had positive feedback from his beer pong practice quizzes and baby kangaroo class visits. Dr. Cameron Gall loves what he does for work and would not want to be anywhere else except in the classroom.  

Dr. Cameron Gall is faculty advisor for the SAIT ENACTUS club and has represented faculty as treasurer for the faculty union since 2009. 

Outside work, Dr. Cameron Gall loves to read, travel, and use poker as a way to teach statistics. 

Education 

Dr. Cameron Gall has a bachelor’s in marketing from the University of Calgary and a PhD in Finance from the University of Oklahoma, USA.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
