Joining the Applied Research and Innovation Services hub in late 2022 as an Innovation and Business Development Manager and later Scientific Lead, Ehsan currently leads the Centre for Energy Research in Clean Unconventional Technology Solutions (CERCUTS) team.
With 17+ years of combined experience in academia and industry, Ehsan brings diverse experience and a vast network to ARIS.
Ehsan holds a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary. The philosophy of ethics is his perpetual hobby and engagement in the background.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
