Make a difference on SAIT Giving Day

Every contribution big or small on SAIT Giving Day can help students thrive and support the building of welcoming and inclusive future.

On November 5-6, 2024, the SAIT community will gather for our eighth annual Giving Day to help unlock student potential. This 24-hour giving marathon is about caring for each other and helping make future skills and spaces a reality.

Join donors, alumni, employees and friends in celebrating the power of community. By engaging in challenges, you can double your impact, win prizes and make your gift go even further.

Here are three ways you can make a difference on SAIT Giving Day  and  help support students, places and possibilities:

1. Grow your gift

Over 24 hours, our SAIT community will have the opportunity to help multiply student funds and be entered for a chance to win prizes through different Giving Day challenges.

⭐ Pro Tip: Anyone can make an impact on the lives of SAIT students. Build your own community of philanthropy among your friends, family or coworkers by inspiring them with your own participation in a challenge or inviting them to join in.

2. Make a donation

Whatever amount, whether $5 or $50 or $500, your gift will help improve the student experience by relieving financial burdens, enhancing facilities and promoting inclusivity.

Make a gift to an area of support that is meaningful to you.

⭐ Pro Tip: When you make a minimum $5 gift through SAIT, you will receive a charitable tax receipt for the value of your donation.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
