SAIT’s School of Business ranks #2 in Canada on a global list — here’s what sets us apart
We’re on the same list as notable universities for a reason
It’s one of Canada’s most well-kept secrets, but shouldn’t be: SAIT’s School of Business is one of the best there is.
The school has ranked #53 on CEOWORLD Magazine’s Best Business Schools in the World for 2025 and is one of just 10 Canadian schools to make the list, positioned between University of Toronto at #52 and McGill at #80. This is SAIT’s fifth consecutive year of recognition.
To compile the list, CEOWORLD Magazine surveyed 250,000 business executives, graduates, global business influencers, industry professionals, business school academics, employers and recruiters in 176 countries and territories. Rankings were based on seven primary metrics of quality and reputation, including academic reputation, tuition and fees, and job placement rates.
To be named amongst greats like Harvard (#4), Stanford (#5) and Cambridge (#13) is no small feat and speaks to the quality of SAIT’s business programming.
“Our goal will always be to deliver the best outcome for students — to instill in them the confidence to succeed in industry and the experience to make it happen,” says Rose Campbell, Dean, School of Business.
“This global recognition is a testament to our industry-informed curriculum, esteemed instructors, work-integrated pathways and ability to stay agile and innovative.”
Let’s get into each of the elements earning SAIT worldwide accolades.
Work-integrated learning
Capstone projects, work placements, internships: these are all forms of work-integrated learning, where students engage directly with industry to gain valuable real-world experience as part of their SAIT education. Whether exploring marketing strategies with a local brewery or researching customer relationship management systems for a bakery, work-integrated learning allows students to see theory in action and practice skills they’ll need to thrive in their careers.
Consider this the secret sauce of our business programming — it gives students the confidence, experience and often, connections, to land a job after graduation.

In a global economy, it’s important to understand how business unfolds in all corners of the world. SAIT’s Study Abroad program offers learners a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore other cultures, give back through community service and enrich their post-secondary education.
Bachelor of Business Administration students Terdoo Azenda and Xavier Fahey-Dumas travelled across the world on an adventure that would take them from the Kenyan capital Nairobi to small village communities, lush green gardens and local homes in Kisii County — all to help connect crucial eye care with locals in need. The students conducted research and assessments on Operation Eyesight Universal partner operations and made recommendations to make them more successful.
Business students Farrah Hart and Andres-Daniel Torres-Ferrerosa joined students from other programs for a three-week exchange in Singapore. Between lectures on data analytics and financial products, they participated in guided excursions to bustling Chinatown, stood suspended in a grove of the city’s iconic Supertrees and feasted on freshly-fired meat skewers in downtown’s open-air Satay Street.

SAIT'S
2020-2025
Strategic plan

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
