SAIT School of Business rings in the new year with a top ranking according to CEOWORLD
The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) is kicking off 2023 with an impressive position on CEOWORLD Magazine’s list of Best Business Schools in the World. The SAIT School of Business has made the list for the third year — holding strong as the second highest ranked business school in Canada and #51 in world.
SAIT’s School of Business is one of the largest business schools in western Canada, and puts significant stock in all things industry driven, starting with instruction delivered by faculty who are experts in the field. As the only Canadian polytechnic on the list, SAIT’s approach to applied learning and connection with industry sets the institution apart as a business school.
“Students choosing to study business at SAIT experience applied learning at its best through meaningful opportunities to connect with industry, and a caring community of faculty and staff who prioritize student success and well-being,” says Janet Segato, Dean of the School of Business. “I am proud to once again be recognized on a global scale by CEOWORLD for our excellent programming and the success of SAIT graduates.”
The SAIT School of Business, established in 1966, offers a wide range of programming from certificates and diplomas to an applied degree and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. The School of Business provides hands-on learning opportunities for SAIT students to meaningfully connect with industry and apply their knowledge through work-integrated learning.

Strategic plan
Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
