Dive in to a big opportunity
Student Leadership Program
Develop your leadership style through the LEADS program. Take on a campus student leadership role and practice leadership fundamentals in a supportive, hands-on setting. There are six types of roles, apply today.
Study abroad
Expand your global perspective, and stay tuned for virtual or travel opportunities (when available). Gain skills through short-term or semester-long exchanges, program-specific tours or internships while earning credit towards your program. Interested? Saitsa
The SAIT Students’ Association offers lots of opportunities to get involved, including: clubs, jobs, the Board of Directors and volunteer opportunities.

Program-specific clubs are a great opportunity to connect with your classmates and network with your industry before you graduate.
Pride at SAIT
Connect with the 2SLGBTQ+ community at SAIT, learn about campus initiatives and events, or join the Saitsa Pride Club or the Pride at SAIT Committee.
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)
PTK is the largest honour society in higher education and the SAIT chapter has more than 3,000 members. A grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 or higher at the completion of four semester-length courses is required to be eligible for PTK.
Black Empowerment and Excellence at SAIT
The Black Empowerment and Excellence at SAIT (BEES) committee is a voluntary group of Black students, employees and allies who work to support Black people on campus and combat anti-Black racism at SAIT.

English Conversation Partners
Expand your global perspective while helping a classmate improve their English or practicing your own. Be an English conversation partner.
Peer Mentorship
Whether you’re starting at SAIT and could use some advice from someone who’s done it all before or looking ahead to graduation and getting hired, being involved with peer mentorship can have a huge impact. Apply now as a mentee or a mentor with Peer Mentorship.

The Wellness Centre, including the SAIT Trojans Gymnasium, is open during construction. Use the east doors by the soccer field to get to the Wellness Centre.

Reg Erhardt Library
There are all kinds of services at the Reg Erhardt Library, but here are two need-to-knows right now — you can book a study space for your group or check out a board game to play with new friends.
International Centre
Make connections with other students adjusting to life in Canada and participate in lots of great activities at the International Centre — your first stop on campus as an international student.
Chinook Lodge Resource Centre
The Chinook Lodge Resource Centre is a place for Indigenous learners at SAIT to gather, connect with peers, access advising, get assistance with financial aid, speak with Elders and more.
Interfaith Centre
The Interfaith Centre is a community hub on campus where inclusivity is standard, questions are always welcome, and the differences between people and cultures are explored and celebrated. Meet the volunteer chaplains, attend and Interfaith Interface on Friday, be a student leader or use the community space.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
