#3Things4Neighbours

Thank you Alan Norris, Chairman and CEO, Brookfield Residential, for the #3Things4Neighbours challenge nomination.

WATCH as SAIT President and CEO Dr. David Ross highlights some of the ways SAIT is supporting our community during the COVID-19 pandemic – from face shield fabrication and fundraising for students to a focus on long-term economic recovery through our new School for Advanced Digital Technology.

In turn, we’re pleased to nominate Patricia Jones, CEO, Calgary Homeless Foundation.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
