SAIT’s Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Team is gearing up for another year of wins. Our team beat out four-year engineering schools to take home top prize in 2018 — the success of this student club is that each member brings individual knowledge from their respective programs and personal experience that collectively makes the team stronger.

Our unique student clubs bring together students from all different areas of study – each with their own set of skills to share – to work as a team to problem solve, to compete and to accomplish great things. SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
