Artificial intelligence has changed everything — it’s impacted the way we live, work and connect with the world. Calling upon Apple’s Siri or Amazon's Alexa to play a tune or provide directions is now commonplace, and voice technology’s capabilities are becoming more and more integrated into our everyday lives.

SAIT School of Business Marketing Instructor David Gaudet has been paying close attention to the adoption of AI and voice technology in the world of business and has taken it to the classroom. In his latest Innovation and Design course, he challenged his students to put their theory into practice by developing a series of Amazon Alexa flash briefings.

Listen to what two of his students had to say about their experience and how it feels to walk away with a new skill crucial to the world of marketing.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
