All events will be published on the _sait.ca Events site.

  1. Once you have navigated to the site, select the Year and Month folder where your event will take place in. 
  2. Select Add Content, Pages and then Event
  3. Add the title of the event
  4. Select the following checkboxes, Custom details, Contact details, Image
  5. Add the start and end date and time
  6. Add the event body copy
  7. Under categories add the correct tags if applicable - Audience, School, Program, Type, Venue and Organizer
  8. Upload a new image for the event - see images and documents for sizes
  9. You will add two custom details to each event
    • The first one will have a Map Marker icon – this will be for the location of the event. Add a link with either the campus location OR “Online” label. The link will either be to the campus map or to Zoom.
    • The second one will have a Ticket icon – this will be for the registration of the event. Add “Register Now” and the event link. *If there is no registration required you may skip this step.
  10. For contact details – please select the appropriate contact block. If a contact block is missing please email site.feedback@sait.ca
  11. Once you have reviewed your event - submit to workflow for approval.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
