The International Centre endeavors to find the right fit for students and support their transition to SAIT’s global campus to become career-ready graduates and holistically contribute to advancing Calgary, Alberta and Canada. Partners play an integral role in this venture and in our success.

Choosing an educational agent is a personal decision. Here are a few considerations and recommendations to keep in mind:

  • Ensure you have direct access to all email communications and SAIT’s Virtual Admission System (VAS) portal at all times.
  • Discuss the services your educational agent will provide, including whether they will assist with your study visa, and request a written breakdown for costs for each service.
  • All tuition payments should be made directly to SAIT by using an approved payment method.

Please note that using an educational agent does not guarantee admission to SAIT or the issuance of a Canadian study permit.

Authorized agents may assist you with:

  • providing up-to-date program and application information
  • assisting students with application submissions in the Virtual Admission System (VAS)
  • paying deposits and fees
  • course registration
  • guidance on immigration matters (study permits and visas/eTAs)
  • providing information on housing options.

Authorized agents cannot:

  • guarantee admission to a program
  • guarantee a study permit, or
  • give you a discount on your tuition.

Adding or changing agents

SAIT generally does not allow you to add or change an agent after an your application has been submitted.

In exceptional situations, such as serious concerns about service quality, you need to submit a request by completing the Agent Change Questionnaire with detailed reasoning. Our team will review your request and follow up once a decision has been made.

If you have questions please email us at agent.info@sait.ca.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
