Immigration advising for current international students

Our team of advisors, both Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) and Registered International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIA), can assist current international students and their dependents with:

  • Study permit applications
  • Temporary Resident Visa applications
  • Co-op and post-graduation work permit applications
  • Any questions about immigration rules and requirements such as work authorization etc.

Our staff also provides following support to students:

  • Orientation and settlement in Canada
  • Adapting to a new environment and new culture
  • Making connections with campus community

Note: International student advisors are not able to assist with admission inquiries. Prospective students who have not yet applied for admission to SAIT must connect with the recruitment advisor.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
