Preventing Sexual and Gender-Based Violence & Bystander Intervention
Join SAIT's Sexual Violence Program Coordinator and Educator to learn more about strategies to prevent sexual and gender-based violence in our community and how to intervene compassionately and safely as a bystander. The session will also address the root causes of sexual and gender-based violence and allow space for discussion on how we can work collectively at SAIT to prevent sexual and gender-based violence.
Please contact Ian Schultz at svprogram@sait.ca if you have any questions regarding this session.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
