SAIT Powwow
All are welcome to this incredible celebration of Indigenous culture, so share this event far and wide! Bring your family and your friends. Join us to watch the beautiful dancing, regalia, and drumming talents of Indigenous peoples from Treaty 7 territory and beyond.
An Indigenous market, refreshments, lunch, and a giveaway ceremony will be part of this year's powwow. A children's activity area will also be available, as well as a photo booth and face painting for the kids. Parking exit vouchers will be available for those who attend.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
