Innovative Leaders

27 March 2020

Presented by: Doug Junor

It’s no secret that the nature of work is changing. Technology, shifting demographics, global competition, and talent shortages are among many factors that are forcing leaders at all levels to think about leading differently. Innovation is not only about inventing, but it’s also about creating value in unique ways. This can be a shift for many leaders who have been historically tasked with managing risk and maintaining the status quo.

Listen as Doug Junor speaks about the importance of innovation in leaders, why it’s changed, and what you can do to start innovating in your organization.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
