Mónica Bennett, Senior International Client Development Manager

Mónica is the Senior International Client Development Manager with SAIT.

She has over ten years of international experience in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Latin American regions.

With a recently completed Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration Leadership (specialization in International Education), she builds strong relationships with government ministries, educational institutions, and local industries to identify, create and implement hands-on technical training programs. 

Her background and experiences with partners such as ExxonMobil in Houston and Angola, Naftogaz in Ukraine, Mozambique’s Lúrio University and Equatorial Guinea’s Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons (MMH) have resulted in partnerships toward building local capacity and workforce nationalization.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
