The centre is responsible for supporting SAIT and its academic leaders and instructors in pursuing innovative principles and practices in teaching and learning.
Scholarly culture and scholarly teaching
The centre also supports SAIT faculty conducting scholarly activity. It administrates the Cisco Catalyst Chair Award, an annual chair position awarded to several faculty members to recognize the use of technology for teaching and learning innovation.

CADMUS Teaching ChairCourses, workshops and services
CADI supports faculty and the academic division with various courses, workshops and services. Our core offerings include Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW), and we develop offerings in response to institutional needs and strategic direction.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
