There are many things that can block your learning process. SAIT Student Counselling Services was established for this very reason. Professional counsellors are available to help you with a broad range of concerns, which may interfere with your success. These services are confidential and available to you, as a SAIT student, at no charge. Counsellors are available to assist you with concerns such as: - Educational issues: exam anxiety, goal setting, and academic difficulties.
- Personal issues: stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, assertiveness, and communication skills.
- Career issues: decision-making, researching occupations, and identifying career interests and goals. A variety of career exploration tools are available, including a computerized career interest questionnaire.
- Workshops: You can attend workshops and groups on a variety of topics such as:
- Stress management
- Relaxation
- Self-esteem
- and others!
