The residence life program at SAIT Residence is what makes us stand out from other housing options available for students.  Through our Community Assistants and Assistant General Managers we offer support for those transitioning from high school as well as mature students and apprentices.

The residence life staff consists of Community Assistant’s (CA’s) and who are there for you, the resident. Any concerns about roommates or personal matters may be discussed with them.  They are there to listen and work with the resident for a solution. CA’s are very knowledgeable and can liaise between the resident and most campus service they may need.

SAIT Residence regularly hosts programs that are designed to help residents develop socially and academically as well as improving important life skills.  Through our distinct and effective programming model we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming community that will make your time at SAIT a positive experience. Some previous program examples include: Rez Welcome Week, Halloween Spooktacular, Residence Art Show, and cooking classes.  In addition, through our Community Council we ask residents to become involved and create programming that meets their needs.
