Accessibility Services

Accessibility Services offers accommodations and services for SAIT students with chronic health conditions and mobility, sensory (e.g. vision and hearing), learning, attentional, neurological, psychological, and temporary accessibilities (e.g. broken wrist). Services provided to students with accessibilities and health conditions include assistance with funding applications for services and adaptive equipment, facilitation of classroom and examination accessibility related accommodations, provision of needed equipment loans, consultation and referrals. For more information about Accessibility Services, please check the Student Guide to Accessibility Services (*.pdf; opens new window). Since arranging for accommodation and services and attaining funds for services takes time, please check documentation guidelines (*.pdf; opens new browser window), and contact us at least six months before the first day of semester or training period of your planned start at SAIT. To make an appointment, call 403.774.5093, send an email, or visit Accessibility Services at the Learner Success Centre, MC221 Heart Building.
