At a minimum, clients should provide: - Learning experiences that offer students a view to real-world applications
- Expertise in their area
- Commitment and availability
- Access to you, or someone in your company who can answer student questions and consult with, for mentoring, gathering of data, confirmation and support of idea
- An estimation of project scope. While additional work may be possible, all parties must agree in advance
- Projects must be designed to assure completion within given course requirement time frames
In completing the Project Inquiry Form, you'll need to include: - Brief description of your organization
- Overview of project requirements and how a successful deliverable would impact your organization
- Any relevant background information as to how work is currently being carried out
- A brief description as to how intellectual property issues will be handled
- An assessment of which SAIT programs and/or specific courses that your organization feels would be a relevant fit with your project request
