Trauma Resilience Tool This project, co-funded by Public Works and Government Services Canada and the SAIT Applied Research Fund, will develop a web-based tool to help medical, police and fire service first-responders build resilience to harmful stress resulting from encounters with traumatic emergency situations. | Working with the Canadian Police Research Centre, evidence-based research on interventions related to trauma will be used to design proactive resilience strategies and activities. This project is being guided by a project advisory committee of first responder agencies. | Insights and expertise from faculty in the Prehospital Care program of School of Health and Public Safety is being sought throughout the course of the project, including the testing phase.
