A SAIT credential is a valuable thing to have but you know that already! Transfer credit for your coursework means that you do not have to repeat work already taken if you choose to complete a degree. Plus using your credential for admission to a degree program allows you to complete a degree in less time. Each receiving institution determines how they will award transfer credit, so it is best to talk to the university representatives. One size does not fit all!
The Transfer Options fan page is now available on Facebook!
A transfer option is the opportunity to use a credential earned at one institution for the credit towards the completion of an advanced credential at another institution, e.g. a certificate towards a diploma, a diploma towards a degree, applied degree towards an additional undergraduate or graduate degree.
A SAIT credential may be used as an admission requirement to the advanced program or it may be used to meet curriculum requirements so that you do not need to duplicate coursework - how it is used depends on the receiving institution.
Knowing what additional learning opportunities are available after completing a SAIT credential allows for better career planning and goal setting. Remember that general admission requirements of the receiving institution must also be met.

Transfer options may be available at other post-secondary institutions where credits from SAIT programs could be evaluated on an individual basis. Interested students should contact the post-secondary institute of their choice for more information and possible options there.
In the event a party to an articulation agreement with SAIT Polytechnic shall terminate or amend such agreement, SAIT shall not be responsible for any losses, damages or costs incurred by a student or any third party as a result of such termination or amendment.
