| University of Lethbridge | Bachelor of Management (Post-Diploma) | HMGT graduates will be given the opportunity to complete the 20-24 course requirements for the Bachelor of Management (Post-diploma) degree program. Students are guaranteed admission with a diploma GPA of 3.0 or higher. Graduates with a diploma GPA below 3.0 may be admitted in the second round of admissions. Eight majors are available in the Post-Diploma Bachelor of Management program. Bridging courses are required to be taken at either SAIT or UofL. (check the link). Students begin the program classified as Pre-Post-Diploma B.Mgt./B.Ed. in the Faculty of Management. After completion of 10 courses, including Education 2500, students must apply to the Faculty of Education. Students are not officially in the Post-Diploma Combined Degrees program until they have been admitted to BOTH the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Education. Once admitted to both the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Education students complete the remaining 25 courses in order to meet program requirements for the Bachelor of Management and the Bachelor of Education degrees. Admission is competitive. Admission is guaranteed with a diploma GPA of at least 3.0, and applicants with a diploma GPA between 2.0 and 2.99 may be considered depending on individual circumstances. The BAMHT is a true "2+2" program. | University of Victoria | Bachelor of Commerce | Applicants from SAIT's two-year Hospitality Management or Hotel and Restaurant Management diploma programs may be eligible for entry to the Bachelor of Commerce program hospitality management specialization, if they meet the following criteria: The diploma is completed with a minimum of B (5.0 GPA on nine-point scale) average, as determined by the Undergraduate Admissions and Records. The average as calculated by the Undergraduate Admissions and Records is a cumulative GPA, which includes all course attempts. Except for the pre-admitted students, the diploma is granted by August 31 of the year for which the student is applying for admission. Final official documentation will be required. The diploma is awarded by a college that offers the “BC Provincial Hospitality Management Diploma Program” or its equivalent. Completion of a microeconomics course (equivalent to UVic ECON 103: Principles of Microeconomics), 1.5 units of university-level mathematics (not to include UVic Math 120 or equivalent) and an acceptable statistics course (equivalent to STAT 252) each with a minimum grade of B-.
