Campus Safety is handled by Paladin Security Group. They are a full-service security company with 26 years experience and a specialization in institutional settings with a primary focus on campus environments.
If you do not feel safe walking at night on campus, you can contact Campus Security and they will escort you to any place you want to go within the SAIT campus.
You can contact Security by dialing 403.284.8530 for regular inquiries (i.e., escorts, room openings, thefts, break-ins, vandalism), or 403.210.4357(HELP) on your number pad (option #2), and 403.210.8000 for life threatening emergencies.
Student volunteers are available for on-campus escorted walks from the SAITSA volunteer organization, SAFEWALK, Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pmSAIT also offers students the opportunity to sign up for SAITALERT – a opt-in voice/text emergency message service designed to provide students with timely information to support informed decisions in the event of an emergency on campus. SAIT students will receive an email explaining how to sign up for this free service at the start of the fall and winter semesters. | Please be sure to visit our Parents pages on our future students website.
