How do I apply for admission to SAIT as an international student with foreign documentation?
Applying to SAIT is a simple four-step process.
1. Complete a SAIT application form.
2. Attach the following documentation to the application form:
Official Secondary Transcripts (refer to example) with a seal or stamp from the institution and an explanation of the grading system.
Copy of official Post-secondary Transcripts (refer to example) with a seal or stamp from the institution and an explanation of the grading system (if you have attended a post-secondary institution)
Calendar descriptions of post-secondary courses relevant for SAIT admission purposes (English, math, science)
Copy of diploma/degree (if available)
Any Canadian equivalency to English 30 and Math 30
Photocopies of your status in Canada. (International applicants should provide a copy of their Canadian visas.)
TOEFL or CLBA score or any form of recognized English language Competency testing completed within the last six months.
NOTE: All documentation needs to be translated into English. You may translate the documents: however, an official translator must approve, sign, and stamp the translation. Only documents that have been signed and stamped will be accepted.
3. Enclose with your $200 application fees (payable to SAIT in Canadian dollars).
4. Wait for your results.
You will be sent a letter indicating the results of your SAIT International Assessment along with recommendations for program placement.
Questions regarding your international assessment results:
You may be sent a letter requesting that you schedule Admission Requirement Equivalency Testing; Canadian Language Benchmarks Assessment (CLBA)* English Language testing and MATH 30 on arrival at SAIT.
