Foreign Document Assessment



Applying to SAIT is a simple four-step process.

    1. Complete a SAIT application form .
    2. Attach the required documentation to the application form.
    3. Enclose with your application the required fees (payable in Canadian dollars).
    4. Wait for your results.

Who is an International applicant?

An international applicant is temporarily in Canada on a student visa for the express purpose of study. This individual plans to return to his/her home country to live.

Who is a New Canadian (Landed Immigrant)?

A New Canadian (Landed Immigrant) is a permanent resident of Canada.

Translation Information

All documentation need to be translated into English. Applicants may translate the documents; however, an official translator must approve, sign, and stamp the translation. Only documents that have been signed and stamped will be accepted.

If you have had your documentation translated by an official translator in your home country, a copy of her/his certification must be enclosed with your documentation.

Other Information

Please submit all relevant education documents at once (if this is possible). If you bring or send in documentation on many separate occasions, there is a greater possibility of the information getting lost or mismatched.
