Transcripts

Send your transcripts to SAIT for admission
Transcripts or projected final grades must be presented to Student Services before you will be considered for admission.

Order your transcript or parchment from SAIT

If you attended high school or post-secondary in Alberta

If you attended high school or post-secondary in Alberta, please order your transcripts through ApplyAlberta. They will be sent to SAIT electronically, which means we can process your application faster, and they will be free of charge (from all Alberta high schools and participating post-secondary schools).

If you attended high school or post-secondary in another province

Order your transcripts from the province where you went to school. However, you can enter your academic information, including grades and schools attended, in the online application. This information will be used for admission until we receive your transcript.

Please make sure we receive your final and official transcript by the Transcript Deadline.

If your transcripts are from outside of Canada

Any students applying with transcripts from outside of Canada will require a Foreign Document Assessment. All documentation must be translated to English and approved, signed and stamped by an official translator.

SAIT will accept the International Qualifications Assessment Services (IQAS) assessment for Educational Institutions, and may accept other recognized assessments. Contact Student Services or visit the International Admissions Section for more information.

If you are currently in high school, or upgrading admission requirements

You can enter your academic information, including grades to-date, in the online application. If you haven't completed a course yet, enter your projected final mark instead. This information will be used for admission until we receive your final transcript.

If you are offered conditional admission to a program based on your projected final grades, make sure that:

  • your academic average remains at or above the minimum selection or early admission average for the program applied for; and,
  • all required courses are successfully completed; and,
  • all graduation requirements are satisfied.

Please make sure we receive your final and official transcript by the Transcript Deadline. You must meet or exceed your projected grades in order to maintain admission in the program.

Transcript Deadlines

If you are conditionally offered a seat in a SAIT program, you must submit final transcripts by August 1 for the fall semester, December 1 for the winter semester and April 1 for the spring semester. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your application. For more information about important dates and deadlines, please refer to Dates to Remember.

If you are completing admission requirements where final marks do not meet the transcript deadlines, such as summer school, you can only be considered once final marks are available. Acceptance will be subject to space availability.
