Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma Courses SAIT.ca - Continuing EducationThe Mechanical Engineering Technology program focuses on designing and utilizing mechanical devices, components and product. Graduates have theoretical and practical training in machine design, engineering analysis, material selection and manufacturing specification. They also receive training in areas such as fluid power, thermodynamics and engineering economics. The program prepares students for a wide variety of careers such as product design, application engineering, design/drafting, technical sales, manufacturing engineering and technical inspection. Some of the courses for the first and second semester in this program are offered on campus and through correspondence and can be taken before being accepted into the full-time program. You will need to ensure all admission requirements have been met prior to applying for a seat on campus in order to complete the program.
