Alberta Personal Property Registry Electronic System SAIT Continuing EducationSAIT Polytechnic has partnered with Grant MacEwan University and is pleased to deliver the Alberta Property Registry Electronic System. This program is designed to develop or enhance the knowledge and understanding of the student in order to perform Personal Property Registry (PPR) transactions and to be prepared for an accreditation examination administered by Service Alberta. Users will require accreditation to perform registrations in APPRES. Please be advised that if you are completing searches only, you need not be accredited. If you have registered in a training session and realize that this is not necessary for you, keep in mind that you must withdraw 5 calendar days in advance of the class, or the funds will be forfeited. Registry Online (RSTR 0121) (10 hours): Registry Online users use the PPR transactions to meet their individual business needs. This stakeholder group consists of financial institutions, law firms, auto repair shops and dealerships, municipalities, appraisers, credit bureaus and auction houses. They have access to a limited selection of PPR functions necessary to support their business needs.
