About eCampusAlberta Continuing & Distance Education Winter/Spring 2012eCampusAlberta is a consortium of 16 Alberta post-secondary institutions (11 colleges, three universities and two polytechnics) that was established in 2002 to facilitate greater access to high quality online learning opportunities. The organization enables students from across the province to access more than 60 accredited online certificate, diploma and applied degree programs and 700 courses. Participation in online education has increased steadily since the consortium was formed. Registrations in eCampusAlberta courses rose by approximately 24 per cent in 2010/11 to 16,213. This compares with 13,107 registrations in 2009/10. Programs More than 60 certificate, diploma and applied degree programs are offered online by the member institutions. SAIT offers the following programs: Business Admin Management Diploma, Bachelor of Applied Technology Geographic Information System, Grocery Retail Management, .NET Development Certificate, Office Administration, Financial Services Certificate, Hospitality Management Certificate, Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate, GIS Basic, Advanced and Management Certificates, Academic Upgrading.
