Automated Systems Engineering Technology Diploma Courses SAIT.ca - Continuing Education Automated Systems Engineering Technology (ASNT) focuses on industrial and manufacturing automation. The major focus of the program is how to apply industrial equipment to real manufacturing challenges. The program covers Boolean concepts, electronic components, electrical control design, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programming, industrial robotic programming and mechanical principles. Curriculum also includes such topics as discrete sensors, actuators, camera vision systems, manufacturing controls, project management, CNC design, mechanical design, hydraulic and pneumatic controls. Automated Systems Engineering Technologists are involved in automated system design, equipment modification, installation and maintenance.
