SAITSA Campus Safewalk is a free, volunteer-based service dedicated to ensuring the safety of all SAIT staff, students and visitors when travelling on or near SAIT’s main campus. STUDENT COUNSELLING SERVICES Counsellors are available to help students with a broad range of educational, career and personal concerns. These may include: - Educational issues such as exam anxiety, goal setting, academic difficulties, etc.
- Personal issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, anger management, alcohol/drug use, communication skills, etc.
- Career issues such as choosing a career field, decision-making, researching occupations, identifying career interests and goals - a variety of career exploration tools are available including a computerized career interest assessment.
These services are confidential and free for currently enrolled SAIT students. Counsellors can also assist with referrals to outside agencies when necessary. A pay-on-exit system is in operation in lots P1, P2 and P6. Express payment may be made by inserting a credit card at the entry and exit terminals. Cash payments are accepted only at one of the five Pay Stations (located in Campus Centre, P6 Levels 1 and 3, Heart and Thomas Riley buildings). Prepaid value cards are available for select lots.
