SAITSA Campus Safewalk is a free, volunteer-based service dedicated to ensuring the safety of all SAIT staff, students and visitors when travelling on or near SAIT’s main campus. STUDENT COUNSELLING SERVICES Counsellors are available to help students with a broad range of educational, career and personal concerns. These may include: - Educational issues such as exam anxiety, goal setting, academic difficulties, etc.
- Personal issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, anger management, alcohol/drug use, communication skills, etc.
- Career issues such as choosing a career field, decision-making, researching occupations, identifying career interests and goals - a variety of career exploration tools are available including a computerized career interest assessment.
These services are confidential and free for currently enrolled SAIT students. Counsellors can also assist with referrals to outside agencies when necessary.
