The Bachelor of Applied Business Administration (Accounting Major) consists of ten academic courses and two directed field studies semesters. Develop the combination of advanced accounting expertise and management skills needed in the expanding and demanding field of managing financial operations. Registration Procedures All part-time non-degree students in CGA Level 4 and PACE-level courses will register through SAIT. Click on course titles in the table at the bottom of this page to register for your respective course. SAIT’s unique partnership with CGA Alberta enables us to offer part-time non-degree students taking Level 4 and PACE Level CGA courses (with a minimum grade of C+) the opportunity to receive full transfer credit and/or eligibility to write the CGA National exam(s), if required. Level 4 students can also conveniently purchase CGA course materials at SAIT starting in the Fall 2009. Refer to individual course links for more information on course material information and exam dates. Note: Course offerings may include extra class dates not shown in this calendar and some Saturday classes may be included. Textbooks are not included in the fees shown. Please call 403.284.7248 for further information on registration. Continuing Education - Accounting Examination Policy Exams must be written in class on scheduled dates and times. Exceptions to this policy are accommodated under the following circumstances: - In case of a medical emergency, when the student provides a letter from a physician justifying the absence.
- If there is a death in immediate family.
Under exceptional circumstances with prior approval from the Coordinator, CGA Partnerships, accommodations may be considered. There is a $100 deferral fee for each provision of this service.
