SAIT’s Accelerated Accounting program offers a direct path to both a degree and a professional accounting designation. Flexible scheduling of the required courses allows you to work full-time while planning for the achievement of your Certified General Accountant (CGA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. As you progress through the program and into the higher level courses, our offerings are synchronized with CGA National Exams through the CGA/SAIT Partnership program. The higher level courses also satisfy many of the “core” requirements for the CMA Entrance Exam prerequisites as well as several of the CA Pre-Professional Education program requirements.

The first step in the program is the ten course Accelerated Accounting Certificate of Achievement, providing you with a strong foundation to ladder into the diploma program. An additional ten courses are required to attain the Accelerated Accounting Diploma and, for those students requiring a degree, the completion of your diploma allows a ready transition into the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration Degree program.
