What you need
Our instructors have extensive real world experience on the job and a Journeyperson certification. Even more, we are looking for people with a desire to share their knowledge and expertise with the next generation of tradespeople.

We’ll train you to teach
While teaching experience is an asset, many SAIT instructors come direct from the offices, labs, plants and job sites of the very industries we serve. We’ll provide you with in-depth training that will get you ready to take your place at the front of the class.

What does it mean to be an instructor
Becoming an instructor means much more than just standing up in front of a classroom. You’ll also be involved in developing and reviewing course outlines, profiles and curriculum, preparing lab materials, and evaluating student progress. Most importantly, by providing support, guidance and advice, you’ll be shaping the future of the next generation.
