Academic Software and Higher Education Apple Products are restricted to eligibility requirements that includes Full-Time & Part Time Continuing Education and Distance Learning Students and Staff & Faculty directly employed by SAIT. Purchases are limited and qualified ID is required.

Return Policies

New Computer Systems

Apple Computers, iPods, peripherals and accessories are considered “Special Order” and are non-refundable through SAIT Computer Store. For "Brand-Name" computers, excluding Apple systems there are no returns, once the computer has been booted-up for the first time. If the computer is returned before its first boot, within 10 business days, the return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee as the store is unable to return any computer systems to the manufacturer.

For Performance Design computer systems, Performance Design and the SAIT Computer Store will work hard to guarantee total satisfaction on their computer systems. If a customer is unsatisfied with their system after initial boot-up the store will work with Pro-Data and the customer to find a reasonable and feasible solution.

For the brand name systems Toshiba, LG and Acer, the store will work closely with these manufacturers to reach a satisfactory resolution. Due to the fact these vendors are much larger then Performance Design the flexibility of their satisfaction policies is generally limited.

Pre-Owned Computers and Laptops

Pre-Owned Computers and Laptops carry a  7 Day - in store replacement warranty on hardware which excludes user damage and software issues, unless stated otherwise where a manufacturer warranty is still in place. Please see in store for details.

Peripherals

There is a 10-day return policy on all peripherals as long as they are in a "new" condition, in the original packaging, with all the appropriate software and included accessories along with the original sales receipt. Due to hygienic reasons open headphones and microphones cannot be returned. Apple Computers, iPods and peripherals are considered “Special Order” and are non-refundable through SAIT Computer Store.

Manufacturer's Warranty

After 10 days from purchase, products are subject to Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy.  If requested by the customer, SAIT Computer Store will make “best attempts” to pursue Manufacturer’s Warranty on behalf of the customer provided customer agrees and pays an initial $25 non-refundable processing charge. Further charges may apply based upon the particular product and/or vendor.
