 Food ServicesSAIT Food Services is operated by Chartwells, the School of Hospitality and Tourism, and the SAIT Student Association (SAITSA). SAIT boasts nearly a dozen places on campus where you can fuel up with everything from a cup of coffee to complete entrées. Upper Crust, in the Heart building, serves sandwiches on a variety of freshly baked baguettes, bagels, and croissants. The Heart building’s Food Court offers hamburgers, baked goods, full entrées, sushi, and other tantalizing options. The SAIT Bookstore, also in the Heart building, offers a variety of chips, granola bars, chocolate bars and snacks. They also carry a wide variety of pop, water, juice and energy drinks, and if you are looking for something a little more substantial, be sure to check out our selection of frozen entrees. The Bookstore is happy to offer extended hours to serve students who are on-campus during the evening and weekends and we always have free popcorn. Looking for a way to jump-start your day? Enjoy a Starbuck's coffee and pastry at their new location in the SAIT Residence Tower. The Senator Burns building sports a selection of foods in its basement cafeteria or visit the John Ware building, home of the Four Nines Cafeteria, for short order and fine cuisine prepared by SAIT culinary students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism. While you’re visiting the Four Nines Cafeteria, check out the offerings at the Marketplace. Wonderfully renovated, this facility showcases the talents of our Professional Cooking, Meat Operations and Management, and Baking and Pastry Arts students by selling products they prepare daily in their classes. Shop for bread, assorted baked goods, meat, fish, poultry, specialty items and short order items. Enjoy fine cuisine at one of the pillars of fine dining in Calgary, the Highwood Dining Room. This tastefully appointed restaurant provides world-class cuisine and service in a live classroom environment. Under the expert guidance of our innovative chefs and Hospitality Management instructors your experience will be one to remember! On the west side of campus don’t forget the T&T Cafeteria in the Thomas Riley building, as well as the Campus Centre Snack Bar, open for home games and special events only. The Art Smith Aero Centre and Mayland Heights campuses also offer students the convenience of cafeterias away from the main campus. Find yourself in the Campus Centre? SAITSA operates the Odyssey Coffeehouse, a place for refreshing coffee, beverages, light snacks and sandwiches. The Gateway Restaurant and Bar, also operated by SAITSA, provides the hub of entertainment on campus. Enjoy live music, stage performances and movies, surrounded by a relaxing pub atmosphere and a selection of drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts.
