What is the SAIT Student Calling Program?

Each year SAIT students call alumni and friends of SAIT to raise funds to improve the educational experience at SAIT. These funds provide students with high quality equipment and resources.

 The average caller makes between 150 and 200 calls per shift. It is a tough job which requires students to have a strong command of the most up-to-date information so they can answer any questions. Callers are sociable, able to think quickly, able to talk to a wide variety of people from every ethnic background and have a touch of salesmanship. The Student Calling Program provides jobs for about 35 SAIT students year-round.

 

Information for Students

Our student callers are the public voice and ambassadors of SAIT. We are looking for mature professional individuals with good communication skills and a passion for SAIT to help us raise funds for students like you.

Information for Donors

Every gift makes a difference, and ongoing support from our alumni and friends is critical. The SAIT Student Calling program ensures that your gift will go 100% to the area you designate, so be as specific as possible as to where you would like the funds used when you talk to your student caller. In addition, participation in the corporate matching gift program frequently enables donors to double the impact of their gift.

We have launched the SAIT ACT (Automatic Contribution Transfer) Program as a simple, affordable, and secure way to show your support for SAIT. Automatic payments are made from your chequing account whenever you want, and for how long you want. You are probably already using this method to pay off your utilities.

We are asking all of our donors using the ACT contribution program to sign up for a minimum of $5.00 per month. This will mean your total gift to SAIT for a year is $60.00. Of course, you may make gifts of larger amounts on a monthly basis.
