SAIT and Aero Space Museum Put on High-Flying Show
Wednesday, August 17, 2011, Calgary, Alberta – SAIT’s School of Transportation and the Calgary Aero Space museum have partnered to celebrate a classic aircraft and the only manufacturer in the world with the rights to build it. Twin Otters—19-seat commercial aircrafts first designed in 1964—are manufactured exclusively by Viking Air right here in Calgary, and will be displayed at Aviation Calgary Expo 2011 (ACE) from August 19-21... full story. 

School of Transportation Launches New Intake of the Pre-Employment Automotive Service and Heavy Equipment Technician Program for Winter 2012
Monday, May 16, 2011, Calgary, Alberta - This program is 24-weeks in length and provides the training for the first periods of both the Automotive Service Technician and Heavy Equipment Technician apprenticeship programs. Upon successful completion, graduates will have achieved a SAIT Polytechnic Certificate of Achievement and upon securing employment will be eligible to become an apprentice in either the Automotive Service Technician or (and) the Heavy Equipment Technician programs. This program is scheduled to start in January of 2012 and applications will open on August 1, 2011. For more information on this program, click here.

Experience equals trust for Stadium Nissan team
