SAIT is working with College Edouard-Montpetit to develop and deliver a one-year Aircraft Structural Repair Technician program for delivery to personnel in the Canadian armed forces. The jointly-developed program began in March of 1997. The accredited program was designed to be taught by either civilian or military instructors.

NAV Canada
NAV Canada, the not-for-profit corporation that provides navigation services to Canada’s airports, and SAIT will explore training opportunities in aviation-related technology. This will include applying SAIT’s capabilities in design and delivery methodologies to NAV Canada’s curriculum and to use Distance Education to increase NAV Canada’s distributed learning opportunities. The two will also explore the possibility of offering joint programs leading to an applied degree in aviation technology.
