Manufacturing Trades
Machinist Technician, Pre-Employment Millwright and Welding, Non-Destructive Testing Foundations
Dates: March 10, 2010 (T114)
Location:
SAIT Main Campus, Thomas Riley Building, T114, Wednesday 7:00 PM
Machinist are employed by general machine shops, manufacturing and processing plants and equipment repair companies.  Millwrights (Industrial Mechanics) find employment in oil and gas, power generation, manufacturing and packaging.  If you are interested in machinery and have good problem solving skills, one of these trades is a great career choice for you. Welders use welding technology to join, shape and cut metal parts. Non-Destructive Testing Technicians identify potential materials failures in industrial components.
