Join energy industry professionals for a one-day professional development seminar, featuring one of the most talked about topics in Alberta’s energy industry today, carbon capture and storage technology (CCS). 

The course will provide you with a fundamental understanding of the technical process involved with CCS, and the political/regulatory aspects guiding the implementation of CCS in North America. Developed and delivered in conjunction with industry professionals involved with CCS, the seminar will cover the economics of CCS, political drivers, capture, transportation and storage technologies, and types of proposed regulations.

In June 2009, the Government of Alberta’s announced a $2 billion investment into CCS. As an oil and gas professional and as an Albertan, take an opportunity to explore the impact of CCS on the province and the energy industry.
