Randy Upright
Randy Upright is the Chief Executive Officer of Manpower Services in Alberta. Manpower is a global leader in the employment and workforce preparation services industry. In this role he leads his organization in the delivery of services helping clients to win in the ever changing world of work. Randy has vision and passion for the advancement of the industry and brings extensive experience in labour market, human skills development and the mobility of workforce issues. He has a special interest in diversity and workforce development. In addition to his responsibilities with Manpower, Randy also serves as Vice-President of ACSESS (Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services). In addition to his National Board responsibilities, Randy also serves as a member of the Executive Team; Board Liaison for Ethics Committee; Member of Government Relations Committee; Chair of Best Practices Working Group; and Chair of the Federal Government Temporary Foreign Worker Committee. As a member of Calgary Economic Development’s Global Business Development Committee, Randy works to bring issues of global talent attraction, talent retention and management to the stage. Randy is also a member of the Talent Pool Development Society and Chairs the Calgary Employer Council for Immigrants Committee in collaboration with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. Randy is a Board Member at Alberta Economic Development Authority Board of Management In partnership with the provincial government, the focus is to provide long term strategic input on key economic issues. As a member of the Productivity and Competitiveness committee, Randy has a focus on strategies that enable Alberta’s industries to increase productivity and remain globally competitive. Randy was born and raised in Alberta and has a passion for the work and lives of people in Alberta and Canada.
